All India Law Entrance Test Exam 2017(AILET - B.A. LL.B (Hons.))

AILET is the full form of All India Law Entrance Test and it is a national level entrance exam that is used for admission to the National law University, Delhi only. The candidates who appear for this exam are eligible to pursue law degree, i.e. BA LLB (Hons), and graduate law degrees such as: LLM and PhD degrees and these are merit based.
The undergraduate law degree, i.e. BA LLB has only 80 seats, while the graduate law degrees such as: LLM and PhD has about or more than 10 seats and it usually doesn’t exceed more than that.

AILET - B.A. LL.B (Hons.)Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with securing minimum 50% aggregate.
  • The Students must be below 20 years as on 1 July, 2018 (22 years in case of SC/ST category) for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) programme.
  • Foreign National Students have to secure minimum 65% marks in the qualifying examination for BA LLB course.

AILET - B.A. LL.B (Hons.)Exam Application Process

  • AILET 2018 Application Form was available from the 3rd January 2018 and available until the 15th April 2018 through online mode only.
  • Students can fill and submit their application form whose fee is Rs. 3000/- (for General Students) and Rs.1000/- (for SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PD) Students).
  • BPL Students from SC/ST are exempted from application fee.
  • The students can pay the fee payment through offline mode (Cash and Demand Draft) and online mode (Credit Cards/Debit Cards and Net Banking).
  • There was no require to send the printed application confirmation page to the University.
